AI Disclosure
Last updated: July 3, 2026
Convos by Deepr Labs LLC ("Convos") is an AI-powered intake and communications system used by law firms. This page explains, in plain language, how AI is used in Convos, what it does and does not do, and how we handle disclosure to the people it interacts with.
What Convos is
Convos is software. It answers inbound calls and messages for law firms, follows an intake script the firm has approved, asks qualifying questions, books consultations, and organizes the resulting calls, texts, contacts, and bookings in one Hub for the firm's staff to review.
Convos is not a lawyer and does not give legal advice, evaluate the legal merits of a matter, or create an attorney-client relationship. Legal advice, conflict checks, engagement decisions, and case work remain with the firm's attorneys and staff.
Where AI shows up
- Voice: an AI voice agent answers inbound calls and follows the firm's approved intake script.
- Text: AI helps parse incoming messages, suggest replies for staff review, and generate structured summaries of conversations.
- Qualification: AI applies the firm's own qualification rules to categorize inquiries (for example, "personal injury — auto — qualified for consult").
- Summaries and transcripts: AI produces call transcripts and short summaries so staff can act quickly without re-listening to every call.
What we tell the caller
At the start of a Convos-answered voice call, the caller is told they are speaking with an AI intake assistant working on behalf of the firm. Recording is disclosed in the same greeting when recording is enabled. The exact wording is configured with the firm and follows applicable state consent rules for recording and AI disclosure.
Callers can ask to speak to a human. When the firm has staff available, Convos performs a warm transfer. Outside staffed hours, Convos takes the intake, offers a booking, and flags the matter for staff follow-up.
What Convos does not do
- Convos does not provide legal advice, opinions, or predictions of case outcomes.
- Convos does not decide whether the firm will represent a prospective client.
- Convos does not perform conflict checks. Firms perform their own conflict checks before engagement.
- Convos does not enter into fee agreements. Any engagement letter, retainer, or fee arrangement is between the firm and the client, outside of Convos.
Human oversight
Every AI-handled call and message flows into the firm's Convos Hub with the transcript, summary, and structured fields. Firm staff review, correct, and act on the record. Firms can configure escalation rules so specific matters — for example a caller who mentions an active emergency — are immediately routed to a human.
Data handling
Customer conversations (calls, transcripts, contacts, notes) are handled according to our privacy policy, customer agreements, and vendor data-processing terms. See the Privacy Policy for the full data-handling record and Subprocessors for our current vendor list.
Accuracy and errors
AI systems can make mistakes: mishearing a name, misclassifying an intake, or producing a summary that misses nuance. Convos surfaces the underlying recording and transcript so staff can verify and correct anything before acting on it. Firms remain responsible for their own communications and case decisions.
